Qualifications and Training
Staff are qualified to a high standard and benefit from ongoing training and development:
• All PFL Electrical electricians qualified to City and Guilds 2394 and 2395 or 2391.
• Supervisors have additional SMSTS 5-day Health and Safety qualification.
• All operatives have ECS/CSCS cards.
• Certified by NEBOSH (National Examination Board in Occupational Safety & Health)
and IOSH (Institution of Occupational Safety and Health).
• A wide range of additional training eg Working at Height, Asbestos Awareness and Manual Handling.
Working Practices

We have adopted comprehensive quality procedures from tender to completion, robust to ISO9001.
PFL Electrical applies ISO standards and procedures, updated regularly.
As well as the essential certification from the NICEIC, PFL Electrical has also gained accreditation to both
Constructionline and Exor, proving our credentials and ability to meet the highest industry standards.
Vitally, we operate rigorous health and safety procedures, regularly reviewed and verified by the
Contractors’ Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS) accreditation.
